16. OUT OF Cg-SPECIFICATION

Adjust the static and the dynamic convergence with OSD control.

Check +20V / -20V line

Check +20V / -20V line again

Check the input voltage at XSC,YSC

Check the output voltage of IC8U1 (digital convergence IC)

Check the output voltage of IC8P2

Check +20V / -20V REG. circuit (see item 13)

IC501, IC510 or its associated circuit on the OSC PWB failure.

Measure the voltage at CNCCB pin 9(YSC) and pin 10(XSC).

The voltage of pin 9 varies from +1.2V to +2.1V by adjusting V.S.CONVER.

The voltage of pin 10 varies from +1.2V to +2.1V by adjusting H.S.CONVER.

Measure the voltage of pin 1 and pin 7 at IC8P2.

The voltage of pin 1 at IC8P2 varies from -0.8V to +0.8V by adjusting V.S.CONVER.

The voltage of pin 7 at IC8P2 varies from -0.7V to +0.7V by adjusting H.S.CONVER.

Measure the voltage at pin3 of and pin5 of IC8W2.

Normally, those voltages are approx. 2.5V.

fter pull out CN-D from CONV PWB, check the voltage at CN-D pin 1(+20V) and pin 3(-20V).

fter put CN-D on CONV PWB, check the voltage at CN-D pin 1(+20V) and pin 3(-20V).

The convergence coil in the CRT failure.

IC8P1, Q8R1 or its associated circuit failure.

IC8T1, IC8T2 failure.

IC8U1, IC8U2 or its associated circuit failure.

IC8P1 or its associated circuit failure.

IC8P2 or its associated circuit failure.
